Section 1

Review the four simple food safety steps of clean, separate, cook, and chill. Use Resource 1 to complete this section. (40 points)

Section 2

Learn how you can help grandparents, older relatives and neighbors stay

1. Explain why older adults have greater foodborne illness risks

1. Discuss a time when you observed at least one safety step that was not followed when you attended a group meal. Provide a solution to solve the safety issue using at least 2 complete, detailed sentences.

Review the Food Safety Chain of Prevention digital flyer. Use Resource 4 to complete this section. (15 points)
